What I Read

Star Supporting your forum.

Keeping the forum running and growing does cost a bit of money, and whilst the forum will always be free, we do need to raise some funds to pay for current hosting and future development.

Current goals in terms of raising funds are :

1. Raise a small amount each month to pay for current hosting
2. Put aside an amount to plan for a more powerful server if the forum keeps growing quickly and also to help develop new features.

If things go well and there is an excess of funds, this will be put back into the forum by way of competitions and prizes.

How to Support the Forum

1. By using our associate link when you buy from :

Amazon. See the thread here for more info

or from

Audible.co.uk

2. Buy something from one of the offers posted in the Deals and Offers Section

3. Add a badge to your blog or website. Ok, it doesn't fund anything, but it does help to raise awareness.

4. If you want to make a donation, you are welcome to do so, but don't feel as if you have to : Donate via PayPal

RE: Supporting your forum.

I think most of us would be happy to buy from Amazon via this Forum if it meant the future survival of KUF. After all it would not make our purchases any more expensive than buying direct from the Amazon store.

Yes, as Kaska said above, following a link will also give KUF a small percentage.

Hi Guys,

Sorry I'm late to the party here...

Just to clarify, if it's an amazon link posted on the forum eg http://www.amazon.co.uk/.... then the forum will automatically track any purchases made.

If it's a link to amazon via a 3rd party, eg tinyurl.com or bit.ly then it won't track.

I'm not a techie, so i think i'm doing this wrong then. If someones promoting a book i simply click on the" blue highlighted name of the book" which takes me straight to amazon. I presumed this to be the link? Then i 1click it to buy. I have no idea if its an amazon or 3rd party link to amazon? As it takes me to amazon & the book in the link, i presumed it was an amazon link?
I'm wrong then? Sad
