Just dropping by to say hello

Hiya

Just here to say hello - very happy owner of a Kindle 3G, which I got owing to my spilt with the ex. You see when I moved out, I had so many boxes of books to shift, I almost done me back in, like. Which is why I decided to get an ereader...and the Kindle seemed like the best choice. I wouldn't be without it now Heart

Fave book of all time is 1984 by George Orwell

Last best book I read on the Kindle was Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, by Susannah Clarke (and the Kindle's ability to take you straight to the footnotes was very handy in this instance!)

...Oh, and my ex is now with a little chubby man with lots of money. How annoying is that!!!!

But at least I got a Kindle out of it Big Grin

Worth bookmarking on your Kindle if you ever fancy a hoot.

..um, unless you're easily offended, that is.

..but no, it's okay. Really.

Cheers. Btw, I mean 'split' with my ex, not 'spilt' which would have just been gross.

Oooh, my sig has just popped up!

That's not a camp innuendo, by the way, even though it does, I admit, sound like it.

Welcome to the Forum, Derek. I'd rather have a Kindle than a little chubby man any day! Hello

Hello Derek, and welcome to the forum. I think you have definitely come off with the better deal now!

Me too Susanne. A Kindle never answers back, and doesn't expect anything in return, unlike any man. Pondering

Actually, I would quite like another girlfriend. The Kindle's pretty okay, though.
