Paperwhite, what version?!

How can I tell what version is my paperwhite? Thinking that I might have to get a new battery in the future, I see in adverts for them that one has to know the version.
I have browsed the settings but it don't say, unless I missed it some place.
I have the 5.6.1.1 upgrade.

Hi there, if you go to settings/device options/device info it has the serial number and the firmware version. But if you go to to you Amazon account online, and go to Manage your content and devices, go to devices and click on the one you want to check. It will tell you what generation you have.

RE: Paperwhite, won't download?!

I have a Paperwhite running 5.14.1.  I bought 4 books 2 days ago.  They started downloading but then stopped and turned to "queued" - stuck ever since.  I have restarted my device several times.  Airplane mode on and off.  I have deregistered and re-registered.  I use only 3G (not WiFi) as I need to stay mobile.  3G reception is showing good (4 bars out of 5).  No amount of Sync-ing will get the books to complete their download.  Spent over 2 hours (yup, over 2 hours) chatting with Amazon this morning and they conclude it must be my 3G connection.  Anyone got any ideas as to what I can do?
