Does Kindle allow sorting by series order or release year yet?

I'm getting a new Kindle tomorrow (the new Paperwhite) and am pretty excited! My old kindle is a Kindle 3 (Kindle Keyboard from 2010) and it has served me well. I always I disliked the fact that I couldn't sort by series, though, line I could ass books in a series to a collection, but then they would just sort alphabetically. Do the newer kindles have this functionality? Also, somewhat related, so they allow sub-xollections? Or are those sort of features pretty much the same as they were in the older kindles?
Thanks for any input!

(29 Apr 2019 04:42 PM)It doesn't appear so, I've just tried in my Peter James folder. But if you sort by title it's just alphabetical. I do wish you could put them in book order too as I'd find that really helpful. I do hope you're enjoying your new paperwhite as much as I am mine. I came from the keyboard one too and have the 2015 paperwhite which I adore. stevenshaw Wrote: Wrote:  I'm getting a new Kindle tomorrow (the new Paperwhite) and am pretty excited!
