Removing the icon for a closed book

Will someone please tell me how to completely close a book on Android Kindle when I have finished reading it and also submitted a review.I have just read a book and thought that I had closed it but there is a small icon of the front cover of the book in the bottom centre of the Kindle homepage. No doubt it should be obvious but...!!!

What I Read

RE: Removing the icon for a closed book

Can you clarify what you mean please? All I can see on my books in my library is like a tick on the cover which I think means it's downloaded to my Kindle. This only shows up in my folders but not on my home page, not even on the one I'm currently reading. I think you mean you can still see the cover of the book you've finished on the Kindle homepage, so can I. I can see the one I'm currently reading to the left at the top, bigger, then just over to the right the last 2 that I opened and read and I can't see a way to get rid of them other than removing them from the device which I don't want to do. I have my library set up in collections just for extra info.
