Quirks with the Fire HD 8 2018 or problem with my unit?

This post was last modified: 30 Nov 2018 01:41 PM by Robinmalhotra.
Just got a Fire HD 8 the other day, have a couple quirks that I'm wondering if are common or just mine.

The speakers "hiss" and "snap" off. This is especially noticeable with touch  sounds on. It will play the "bloop" touch noise, and if you listen closely it goes "hissss SNAP". Pretty much when any noise plays it's like the speakers are active and noisy/hissing, and then once it's not going to play any more sounds it "snaps" to turn the speakers off.

I was turning permissions off for some apps and I accidentally  Lorem Ipsum Temp Mail 10 Minute Mail turned one of the "Settings" app's permissions off. This caused the screen to become unresponsive and not respond to taps. I had to hold the power button for 10 seconds or so to hard reset it. Was curious if it was a fluke, so I tried disabling another permission to "Settings" and the same thing happened.
Was wondering if anyone experiences or could replicate either of these issues? It's the new HD 8 2018 with the lastest updates installed. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

have you installed an app permission changer app,, ?

if you change the permisions on the apps the fire needs to run, then it shouldnt be a surprise if it doesn't run well or at all.

have you also installed a volume booster app  coz that's what mine does if I turn the booster up to high
