What I Read

RE: I have no friends on goodreads.com

Goodreads.com is new to me. Had a look around but I'm not sure exactly what it would give me other than keeping a reading list on line with a few comments etc, reviews, friends, themed 'clubs' ......... or is there something I'm missing?

Grateful if any of you Goodreaders could enlighten Smile

Cheers, Dave B

I don't know any people on Goodreads so I don't use it for the social side, I mainly use it to keep a reading list and to read reviews.

Usually if someone on KUF or elsewhere mentions a book I jump on to goodreads and check it out. I see how others have scored it and read a few random reviews. Only if the book passes that do I download the book or the sample to the Kindle. I prefer using goodreads to Amazon reviews as most of the Amazon reviews are completely biased and I don't trust many of the reviews on there.

I've sent a request too, John. I mostly use it to keep a list of the books on my Kindle, as I can access it from my phone for the blurb when I'm looking for what to read next.
