What I Read

Been got at!

I have to admit that I am a Kindle convert. This time last year I swore I'd never ever have an e-reader. Ever! But my OH bought me one for Christmas and I used it on and off through the summer (Australia). On the beach and off, in the boat and out, in the sun and out. Now, if a paper book and the Kindle are both by the bed, I'm surprised to notice my hand drift to the Kindle. I love the way I can enlarge the text, shop by sample, and even buy at 2 or 3 in the morning if I want. Who'd have thought?

Now my problem is the immense guilt I feel when I walk past my favourite bookshop... especially as they sold megacopies of my own books!

Plug aside. I think you are all lucky for being able to buy kindles at a reasonable price. I live in Brazil and the cost here for e-readers is anywhere between 250 pounds and 600 pounds. I just thank God I can download books on my computer although I have to pay and extra pound local taxes. Problem is I can't take my computer to the beachThumbs Down
