What I Read

Hello from Sunny Hull

Hello everyone. As I said in the tread subject I'm from Kingston upon Hull, in East Yorkshire.

It actually really is sunny here this week so I'm making the most of using my Kindle in direct sunlight as advertised.

I saw my second ever 'Kindle in the wild' today in the waiting room at the dentist. My first was a couple of weeks ago in the city centre when I spotted a student carrying one in the Amazon leather case. I did not get close enough to see if he had the illuminated or non-illuminated version.

Anyhow - I use my Kindle 3 mostly to read bios, business bios, general non-fiction and Instapaper.com - though I'm also mixing in some fiction - The Rachel Papers by Martin Amis at the mo and some Larry Niven hard si-fi.

Indeed it has been 'cracking the flags' all weekend.

Even as a 'ginger' I have enjoyed sitting outside (in the shade) and reading my kindle
