What I Read

Linux version of Calibre

I just downloaded the Linux version of Calibre on my netbook which runs Meego - installs like a piece of cake and seems to run much better than on my Mac. Quite glad I did that now - think I'll do all my coversions in Linux now.

Welcome to the Linux clubHello

I've run calibre on Linux and Windows before and found it to be a much more pleasant experience in LinuxClapping hands

In what way is it "more pleasant"?

mostly I found it to be faster and also less "buggy" but then I haven't used it on windows recently Whistle

Maybe try a newer version - it's speedy and bug free on Windows for me Smile

I'm not trying to argue Windows vs Linux by the way. I have a dual (well actually triple) boot Windows/Linux system, and I wondered if I was missing anything...
