photos on Amazon drive not SD card

Hello
My wife's hd 10 seems to have all her photos on the Amazon drive, not on the SD card which was turned on to do this in settings.
How do I get the photos off the drive and onto SD card, as it's going to exceed the free 5gb.

I'm surprised that the preference in settings is not automatically saving uploaded photos to SD card anyway?

As an aside, Silk seems unable to keep Google UK as a homepage. How do we achieve that?

These may be elementary questions, but as a Linux user I can't see how these points can be fixed.... thanks!

Install ES, file explorer, if you haven't already, then you can send the pictures and anything else, to the ax SD, card. . This in its self can be a bit tricky, let me know if you have a problem working out how to do it.

Silk is set to bing, Amazon and Google don't get a long well, install another browser if you want google, there's even a Google browser on the store for free

RE: photos on Amazon drive not SD card

Thanks for the reply.
We are trying to install ES file manager but keep getting a notice that payment method and country are not supported. Eh? The app is free so why does this appear?
The device is registered to Amazon UK and we are using it in France. Is this causing a conflict?

Once we have got this sorted, can we ensure the photos go straight to SD card or shall we need to use the file manager to shift them from time to time?

Thanks again
