Books that have made you cry?

hello,
I like reading, especially detective stories, love stories, fantasy ... And I'd like to know what book(s) have made you cry? Can you recommend something?

RE: Books that have made you cry?

The only one (I'm basically hard!) was Joan Grant's Winged Pharaoh. I read it in my late teens, yonks ago.

White Hell of Pity by Norah Lofts left me crying bucketloads and almost suicidal. So, not recommended!
