What I Read

RE: Returning

I sometimes wonder if Returning would sell better if I'd put in a lot of sex. Of course, one of the major characters is a 15-year-old girl, so probably that wouldn't work. I guess you'll just have to settle for space travel, speculation about where the current idiocy in America may lead, and some flagrant misbehaviour with nuclear weapons.

What I Read

RE: Returning

Someone pointed out that, with a 15-year-old girl taking on as much importance in Returning's plot as she does, this could technically be called a Young Adult novel. Or, at least, one with strong YA leanings. I suppose they might just have a point.

What I Read

RE: Returning

The audiobook version of Returning was released on 15th November. Bridget Thomas did a lovely job narrating. Because, as we all know, there are people who prefer to have someone else read the book to them.

What I Read

RE: Returning

I like listening to a book especially as I have so little time to read in a quiet place and pore over the words, which is my absolute favourite way to take in a story.

Good idea, J.T. All the best with sales.
