This book is designed to prepare for the likely emergencies we all face rather than a post-apocalyptic, Zombie world.
Prepare Now. Survive Later
80% of counties have been hit by a weather-related disaster since 2007. We’ve all experienced power outages. There are floods, hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, earthquakes, car breakdowns, and a host of other likely emergencies we need to be ready for. There are also special sections on urban and suburban emergency planning.
The book is a common sense, step-by-step guide on how to prepare yourself and those you love, so not only are you prepared, but you have peace of mind. A large focus is on the family and how to help those you love.
I wrote this book for my grandchildren. My son, his wife and their children moved to San Diego and I saw a report that there was an earthquake alert. I became concerned about how prepared they were. Not just for a possible earthquake, but, as importantly, for the chaotic time after an emergency. I reached into my training and experience and this is the most important book you will ever own. It is also the most useful gift you could give someone you care about.
Easy-to-follow checklists and specific directions on what to get and do help you prepare.
But the most important thing is to Prepare Now!
Here are three things you can get for your home right now, that will drastically increase your preparedness:
