? Covers for this age group can be tricky since they not only have to appeal to young readers, but also their parents who are likely to be buying the book for them. The American cover worked very well for Scholastic. But you have good taste, Mads, because that first UK cover got the book into WH Smith.

Be interested in comments from people who write for the 9-12+ age group? Is the pink Spellspring cover just too young?
