There are some queer people about - many of them loaded.

Each to their own, but I suspect these sort of clothes are for people who buy works of art by Tracy Emin and Damien Hirst.

Reminds of the fictional Harry Enfield shop on TV some time ago called 'I saw you coming'.

V funny. Thanks.

At first I thought it was a joke, but I guess that is a real thing, selling for a more money than sense price.
The perfect garment to wear on April 1st! But I do wonder if it would survive a machine wash without coming out - er, more of a tangled mess. But if anyone really wants one at that price, that is pretty much my knitting standard!Tongue

It's unbelievable. I see there is also a 'hole-motif' jumper that looks like something knitted by a complete beginner but costs even more than the distressed one.
Great laugh for those of us with more sense than money, though!

Haha!

I thought the model looked familiar.

I suppose on those really chilly nights you put both on for extra warmth.

Spot on, RK. And when the mood strikes I wear one with nothing underneath. It's quite a sight according to Mrs H.

RE: Money to burn?...

I must admit to owning a mohair jumper, that was hand knitted on big needles for that fishing net look. I wore it everywhere, everyday for months. It did gain some holes naturally, and that did just add to it's charming punky style, and this was in the 80's and perfectly acceptable for the time.
Not gonna pay that for another though Smile
