I don't think there is anything wrong with including some evidence that you are a person as well as a writer.
Thanks Cecilia - yes, I hope in time it will help readers make some sort of connection. To misquote The Elephant Man, I am a human being, not an ASIN.

And don't listen to Scribs - he's just jealous because he isn't human - but spare a thought, it must be a bugger touch typing with wings.

RE: New Website

Bit short of time at the moment, so I haven't read what everyone else says, but I like it. The web site, I mean.

Your writing style is light and easy (that's good) and your puss cat A features in one of my books, so of course I like that page. I used to have a B too. So you can see from my waffling that people do read what you've written including the bit about the boiler, central heating systemS, and the bee is very nice too.  And your hat is probably the  star of the site.

I'd probably get 9 out of 10 if you set an exam.

Thanks, Anna. I'm quite happy with the general feel of it thanks to the kind remarks I've had here - just the mobile-device thingy I have to work on. As for the hat, I'm happy for anything to drag attention away from my mug.
