To throw a cat amongst the... you get the idea. You may be able to borrow e-books from your library.

Looks like my lot (Hampshire) use something called OverDrive, which is compatible with the Kindle (so it says). Not tried it, but thought I would mention it.

No need to visit to borrow, or renew, or return.

14 day lending period is what puts me off (although I assume you can renew as you need to).

The selection of available titles seems a little random though.

Katherine, I have to agree that library books are grubby creatures. The last few times I borrowed some books, I gave them all a wipe with antibac before I read them!
