Kindle Reader on PC -

Kindle Reader on PC

I have recently downloaded Kindle Reader for my PC - can anyone tell me why it will only open .azw files and not .azw3? Of all the Kindle books I have, only three of them are .azw. It seems a pretty pointless application if it will not open the majority of my books.

I haven't had problems with my kindle reader for pc.
Are the files on your pc?
can you rename the extension to .azw?

Thanks for your reply. The problem appears to have resolved itself; I can now open all of the books. Maybe it was me..... lol.

I think Mobipocket is better as Kindle Reader on PC
