If someone's taken in my polka dot boxers, please can they kindly return them to me. Thanks!

RE: KUF Ads - do they increase sales?

Well, I've taken the plunge, so I will see what happens, starting from Wednesday. Sales have just about dried up now, so it certainly can't do any harm. I quoted a nice bit from a review on .com but there wasn't enough space to credit it, so I hope the quote marks will indicate I didn't write that about my own book!

KUF undoubtedly sells books. I don't know what percentage comes from thread participation and what comes from paid ads, but if you feel you're benefiting from KUF, why not throw a tenner at an ad and see what happens? Worse case scenario, you contribute towards to server running costs only, best case scenario, you support KUF and make a few sales.

I've certainly benefitted, even if it has made no difference to sales! So £8 well spent whatever the outcome.

Striped string vests? Won't the stripes fall through the holes?

What I Read

RE: KUF Ads - do they increase sales?

Kuf sells because:
I've just looked at the top posters (apart from me as I'm the top-most)

Rosen (not read the Trolls)
Linda G (read all)
David W (read all)
Jonathan (not read drabbles)
Michael (read all)
Ignite (not read drabbles)
David H (read all)
Scribbles (possibly read all - it's hard to tell as he keeps them secret Tongue)
Stu (not read poems or Borneo)
Lexi (read all including the ones people don't list)
Jennie (not read drabbles and I've got a few on my TDBR)
Steve (still got Queen in my TDBR)
Lynda (read half but on my TDBR)
Alex (sorry, not fussed on reading about cold mountains Sad )
Cecilia (still not read Midi)
Tim (the first so far I've not read)
BJ (the second)
Talli (read everything)
Grace (read most)

So I would imagine I've read at least 80% of the top posters' combined works.
