Reading in sunshine

Hi

I have a problem reading the Kindle Fire in strong light because of the reflections, a problem that I didn't have with my original basic Kindle. Can anyone help with any suggestions?
Thanks

RE: Reading in sunshine

Turn the brightness right up, will help some, but LCD panels have never been particularly good in bright sunlight, just a fact of life. If you want to read outside, an eInk kindle is always best. Multiple kindles on one account isn't a problem.

What he said.

Your original Kindle was E-ink - not the same as a tablet screen. Use your original Kindle - or get a new one for £59 - when outdoors.

Apart from that it's the obvious: sitting in the shade and angling away from brightness will help a bit.

RE: Reading in sunshine

Totally agree with the advice from Tim and Ray, Kindle Fire's are not the best in bright sunshine, but one of the original Kindle e-ink readers will be fine.
