The glass isn't 1/4 full for the beginning of the new year for me. Only 6 sales to date but maybe things will pick back up.
Thumbs Up

From an engineering perspective... the glass is twice the size that it needs to be. Wink

Do engineers not want a bit of space at the top? Oscillations while walking would spill the contents if the glass was exactly the same volume as the contents. Though "The glass is 1.85x bigger than it needs to be" isn't quite so pithy.

And don't forget to factor in temperature and pressure...

So now we're up to "The glass is 1.85x bigger than it needs to be at sea level and in ISA standard atmospheric conditions (i.e. 15 degrees C and 1013 HPa)"

Or you could determine that the "slosh factor" equates to refunds...

Half empty or half full? Does a vacuum count? Just asking...

What I'm hoping is that some small changes I've made on KDP have worked! - although it's impossible to tell, of course. One was to recategorise my main mystery series as 'Cozy' (with 2 of them falling neatly into 'Cozy/Crafts and Hobbies') and the other was to add the name of the series. I had resisted both these because I hate the word 'Cozy', especially when the spelling is 'wrong', and I don't like the look of titles with long strings of other stuff in them. I think I may have been wrong to resist in both cases. But time will tell!
Well said, well said.
Boycotting words that aren't spelt correctly can be like biting the hand that feeds you.
I could make a stand - but there's a risk no one would notice.

Yes, I've tweaked my keywords again today too. No evidence in the past that it's made much difference, but we live in hope Smile
