Maxwell's Silver Hammer by Andy Rivers
If you like your gangster crime novels on the gritty side, and set in the North East of England, then this is one for you.
Written in a 'point-of-view' style, rather than with traditional chapters, this book makes for engaging reading.
The characters were well written, and, in most cases, highly believeable, along with an excellent story line.
The action proceeds very quickly, and you really get a feel for the lives of the characters. This book was almost unputdownable.
I enjoyed this book immensely, and can't wait to read more from this author.
