Don't worry, Scribbler. It's more than balanced out by your good Amazon reviews for the same book. David's right - rational bad reviews cut to the bone. Even after receiving many great reviews for one of my humorous books, a 1* review that said it was just not funny still knocked me pretty hard. In two days, you'll have forgotten this review. If it was your only review, then it'd be worse, but you have plenty of good 'uns under your belt to shrug and move on. Smile

Thanks, everybody, for the supportive comments. The thing I like most about reviews is the different perspective that readers see my/your/our writing from, and little insights that make you think, 'hmm, I wasn't actually thinking about that when I wrote it but, yeah, you're absolutely right'.

Anyway, I'm now the undisputed king of the run-on sentence, and there are far worse claims to fame! Big Grin

I believe that your are NOT the undisputed king of the run on sentence but it would be unladylike of me to point a finger! I have read MUCH worse.

Ouch!  They always hurt, Scribbler.  But we can't please everyone all the time, can we?  I hope the duck will take it on the beak and swim on.  Water off a duck's back and all that ... Tongue

Yikes! That means I'm the queen of the run-on sentence, oh dear. Blush
