It looks identical to the favicon (the icon that appears in the address bar when you visit a web page) used on CreateSpace:

I think the icon indicates that the book file was exported from CreateSpace to KDP. If you publish a book on CreateSpace and under "distribute" you click on "Publish on Kindle" and export the file from CreateSpace, this symbol will appear next to the book on your KDP bookshelf when it is set up there.
