RE: British Telly

I've only just started watching the Detectorists on catchup, after Joo mentioned it. It had completely passed me by. Will have to look out for the first series. You're right though, it's got a "Summer Wine" vibe to it.

RE: British Telly

Series 4 of The League of Gentlemen.
Series 3 was shown in 2002, so it's been a long time coming.
I didn't realise it was out until I spotted something yesterday. It's only 3 episodes.
I've seen some "re-visiting old series" before and they've been a bit meh, but I think this one hits all the right marks. It was Royston Vasey now, but with the hint of then.
Hedgehogs rock.

Never seen LoG, I know that's probably awful, but I never have.

Loved all 3 series of The Detectorists, sad series 3 was the last but they left it perfectly. A lovely gentle watch and an absolute joy.
Out Now!

The Beeb have got lots of good box sets on iPlayer. I'm watching Happy Valley at the moment and I'd also like to see Line of Duty again. Several other great repeats on there too, presumably because they're a bit short of new productions! Never mind, Beeb, I'm loving your old stuff and catching little bits I missed of the plot the first time round (or have forgotten...).

Upstart Crow has been one of the highlights of the year for me, along with W1A and Quacks.
And always a Morse fan (well, I did live in Oxford) I'm thoroughly enjoying picking up the backstory with Endeavour.

Love Upstart Crow and Endeavour. I've watched both more than once.

I love Morse too - it lulls me to sleep every time - so annoying, but then I can watch it all over again to find out who dunnit. I've not found out whodunmostofem.

I've been watching Happy Valley tonight. Apparently James Norton, who plays the psycho baddie, has had death threats because he's so nasty in it.

Ok, I've spent days searching for that thread where I could wish all you Kuform members a happy xmas season and a healthful and blessed 2018, but couldn't find it, so thought I would post it here. I hope to emerge from hibernation in 2018, so until then, best wishes to all for 2018.
