RE: It's Blackberry Season again.......I made a courgette and onion leather last night. I included a stock cube. That might be used for soup. I'm experimenting. I'm thinking about making wine in 2l plastic pop bottles. I have a demijohn full of elderflower wine, but had to buy another to rack it. Shock horror at the price. I need to drill a hole in a cork for the airlock. |

RE: It's Blackberry Season again.......that is the recipe I just used - faithfully to the letter apart from reducing the amount of fat to flour for the crumble - I stuck to a 2:1 ratio. I just had some now and it is absolutely gorgeous. |

I'm another crumble lover. Lets face it there aren't many (if any) cake type things I don't like When I made a blackberry tart, there was a little pastry left over so I made some smaller ones, I had some crumble mix from last year in the freezer, so stuck that on the top. Mini crumble tarts yum! I also add oats to my crumble and occasionally crushed nuts too. |
