Drivers in front of me who brake suddenly, slow right down -- and activate the indicator after they start to turn.
I feel like suggesting (loudly, of course) that they look up indicate in the dictionary.

Ah Windows 8 , a good choice. In fact, perhaps we should include Microsoft as a whole. Clearly they never learned the old adage, if it aint broken, dont fix it. It took me a lot of effort to find a copy of office 2003, as the later versions were wrecking my head. I use them at work, which is bad enough, but not on my own laptop at home. Sacre Blue! ... or allowing for Joo's pet hate,,, Chuffing 'eck!

let us not get into the inability of Irish drivers to curcumnavigate a roundabout, and we have plenty of them. Being in the wrong lane, crossing over lanes and cutting you off, the general inability to choose a specific lane and stick to it, to say nothing of indications. The Irish pschye could be easily understood by standing outside of a school and watching the mothers drop off their children... the casual gung-ho attitude to basic rules of the road would leave you thinking you were in a third world country. But then again...!

I'm still screaming at Windows 8 which has obviously got heat-stroke as it keeps going onto the Bing search of its own accord. In addition the hot weather seems to be driving spiders out of our roof space into the bedrooms - 4 last night which is the most I've ever screeched at in one go.

I feel for you, Cathy. Spiders are a pet hate all on their own. Shocked

My current peeve is adverts that follow you round the internet. Earlier, I did a Google search for 'Wedding Planners' - don't' get excited, it's for the WIP - and every site I've been to since has adverts for the wretched things. Bah!

Glad I am not the only one who has a dislike of Windows 8 Cathy, it has a mind of it's own trying to second guess what I want to look at, and is always WRONG!

As for spiders, they are a banned word in my house, especially the ones with big hairy legs! I can take the little ones or those with spindly legs, but the big ones that move fast and sit there glaring at me are a different matter. Sad

Only happy when I am immersed in a good Kindle book Thumbs Up

It seems to be that alternate versions of Windows are always useless so I am not going to upgrade again until Windows 9!

Spiders are actually called 'things we don't mention' in my workplace because someone there is terrified of even the tiny ones. I am better than I was before so it is only the massive hairy ones I panic about now. It helps to have a vicious killing machine in the house (my cat Jacques) who goes after everything from magpies to midges.
