On a free promo, who has made it to the #1 spot on Amazon? I think Rosen did it with Pompomberry House but how many other KUFfers have claimed the crown?  Smile

RE: Just Curious...

I've made it to #1 several times in several categories but only to #6 in the 'umbrella' Kindle Store.
The closest I've ever got to #1 in the PAID list is #605 and that was during a $0.99 promotion.

I did it with Strictly Murder last year. It reached No.1 in the UK and got as high as No.2 on dot.com. Aaah! Heady, exciting days.

I made it to No 2, under Tally Roland, with Spigg's Wood, and that resulted in lots of sales. Alas, nothing has ever matched that and my sales are dwindling.

RE: Just Curious...

Well done, folks! It's great to read about Kuffers' success.

Are we talking paid or freebie charts? I've been #2 several times in the short stories chart and have come agonising close to the top 100 with Maureen goes to Venice! Both those chart positions were during freebie promos.
