RE: Nice mention of KUF

At least it was a mention, but I would have placed it at the other end of the list! What other sites can compare? KUF was the first indie/kindle site I found, which was a refreshing change to many others, and with none of the in-fighting.
KUF is not just 'UK' either, with authors and readers from many continents.
KUFfers know this is a great site, but maybe I'll take a look at some of the others to see whether they do rank as stated Shy

RE: Nice mention of KUF

Lovely that it was included, but I don't agree that it's the equivalent of the KBoards. On the KBoards you only have to set a toe over the line of someone's idea of correct and the whole pack descends on you. It's a great place to find out information, but I don't find it a pleasant place to be. Not like here. I've never seen any sense of pack mentality here.

Agreed, but it's mainly always the same someone who shall remain nameless Cool

I also think you get ignored a bit on KBoards, unless you are an indie star. And it has an American bias, understandably. But as you say it is handy for information.

Agree with Katie - KUF is nothing like Kindle Boards because this is such a LOVELY place Smile

I can't imagine I'll ever visit Kindle Boards again. One half are indie writers who hate the rules, the other half are readers who hate indies.

RE: Nice mention of KUF

I don't mind KBoards, it doesn't have the cosy feel of KUF but it is what it is. I was surprised however when some people gave Rosen a pretty rough ride over the first issue of Indie Scene Magazine - that was definitely out of order. Dodgy

That's the only time I've ever visited, Scribbler. I can see no excuse for that degree of nastiness - and anyway, they seem to be coping well without me!
