Well, as you're asking, ice and a slice, please.Wine2 For some unfathomable reason there wasn't a bucket emoticon.

RE: The weather

Glorious sunshine here too, just south from Bristol.
Was pottering around, doing this 'n' that, sat down to read for a bit, and ended having to put something with sleeves on !! Didn't fancy going crispy Smile
Probably scared the neighbours as I've had me legs out too.
Finally get to wear those floppy hats I bought just in case we saw sun again Smile

The downside is I've just emptied all the water butts (I have 4!)

RE: The weather

My first post on this forum, and I choose the weather. Hmmmm, how old does that make me feel? Smile

It's warm in my little town of Creston, BC, Canada. The thermometer says it's 24 C. Nice. We were hot-hot-hot for a few days, and thank goodness that's over for now. I was going to melt.

We are slap bang in the middle of winter in Australia and it's 23.5 degrees!
For Saturday, the expected maximum is 13 degrees.  That's Melbourne for you.

RE: The weather

Hmmm, I don't know if our canadian or australian members realise just how much of a treat this sunshine is for us, after the washout one last year and the freezing cold winter we just had. It feels as if this is the first summer we have had in years. It's going to make a lovely change this year by staying sunny after Friday- the day the kids break up from school and therefore the day that the temperature suddenly drops and we have non stop rain for six weeks.

RE: The weather

It's winter in New Zealand and 11 degrees in my little town. I have an American friend who has gone to London for a months holiday. But she's from Florida, so I think she'll handle the heat OK. I'm just glad to see it's nice and hot over there. It's horrible when summer comes minus the heat... you feel so ripped off!
