RE: Hello from a cover designer!

Hello Jes
I would appreciate your opinions on five or six of my books. I am considering changing a few. At this stage I am hoping for an honest opinion in a sentence or two about each one by title. Even though it might be true to say that all book covers can be improved there is difference between that and a cover that just doesn't work at all on any level. You might feel that a particular cover works up to a point. The issue is, does the cover attract the reader browsing through hundreds of covers? Or is it (or they) an immediate turn-off?
All my covers are on my website http://www.davidcallinan.com
Titles are: THE IMMORTALITY PLOT, KNIFE EDGE, BODYSWITCH, AN ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER, THE WEATHER KIDS, KINGDOM OF THE NANOSAURS
In case I don't get back to this forum quickly enough you can email your thoughts to david.callinan@btinternet.com
I'd really appreciate your thoughts.
Warm regards

David Callinan
