New Cover for Matchbox Memories - help!

This post was last modified: 28 May 2013 02:35 PM by Ray Kingfisher.
I've just received a few mock up of possible covers for Matchbox Memories.

For those that have read it, which one(s) sum up the spirit of the story.
For those that haven't, which one would entice you into the book?

(unfortunately it's currently got a rather major mistake - easily sorted - please ignore that for now)

I have my own favourites which I won't mention, but any comments at all gratefully received.

Thanks,
RK.

Of them as they are, I like the first one by far. But are you aiming to get a "look" to match SBL?

Thanks, joo.

No, I'm not aiming to match SBL - it's a completely different type of story.

Strange you should like A - it's my least favourite. Perhaps that just shows how little I know about covers.

I've not read it, but D stands out for me.

A is the simplest. And I like the sloping "o" (which will look nice when it has a matching one above Tongue)

I prefer D - bottom right. But is it Matchbox Memories or Matchstick Memories? Your thread says one thing, your covers another.

I like A. It's simple and clear and I think that's important with the small size thumbnails you get on Amazon.
