RE: Doctor Who

Big fan here.
Was given the Dr Who 50th anniversary dvd for Christmas plus an annual too.
Lucky enough to meet many of the previous Drs and companions I was once offered two jelly babies by Tom Baker.
Getting old disgracefully.

*envy*

Must admit I wasn't bowled over by the Christmas special. On first viewing I found it rather... self indulgent. But then I think that's the case of a lot of Moffat's episodes. Sadly I don't think he's as good as he thinks he is.

RE: Doctor Who

While the Xmas special wasn't as good as The Day of the Doctor, I still found it enjoyable. The Doctor is dead. Long live the Doctor!

RE: Doctor Who

It took me a few episodes, but now I like him. I like the way he's unobservant about Clara.

RE: Doctor Who

Not yet.
I had the same problem with Matt Smith. Time delay distortion effect.
He got better and the stories got better and I thought he became a great Doctor.

RE: Doctor Who

Honestly, Season 8 Episode 1 wasn't a good episode. It was far too long and perhaps a bit lost. It did, however, achieve the most important job of a newly regenerated Doctor by appealing to our emotions and accepting the change with open arms.
