Another possibility: The Great Gatsby - to tie in with the film, though have never read it myself.  It's free on Gutenberg but not by the look of it on Amazon but you could lash out all of £1.49 for the excellent Delphi edition of the Collected Works of F. Scott Fitzgerald .  Or there's even an edition for 49p which is cheaper than the paid for editions of Gatsby.
