Yes, that was my point really Joo. Are we all so busy reading each other's books and trying to be supportive that we haven't got time to read anything by an interloper like Dickens or Hardy?
It's up to Lou to decide how he wants the forum to develop. This is the Kindle Users' Forum, not the Indie Writers' Forum and we know from the Amazon boards that there are a lot of readers out there who regard indies as the Great Satan. A book club reading books by established authors at least gives them a reason to visit the site.
Sorry, must dash. Have to brush up on my Danish. There's a member who is providing some challenges!

Perhaps Dickens and Hardy shouldn't have written such long books Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin
There was a suggestion that there should be 2 choices, one contemporary, one classic each month, but perhaps we should stick to free classics for now, to try and re-introduce some good ole oldies to the youngsters Big Grin
