Timeline is a 10,000 word story set in the year 2022. The story is part of the Auto series, which looks at how social media will evolve in the next ten years, but is a stand-alone tale and can be read by itself.

Timeline won first place in two categories - Science Fiction, and Short Stories and Novelettes - of the Best Indie Books of 2012 Awards, run by Indie Book Bargains. On Amazon, Timeline is rated 4.7 stars from 48 reviews in the UK, and 4.4 stars from 51 reviews in the US.

Are you planning to put it up on SW/D2D and aim for an Amazon pricematch?

I think exploring other avenues is a very good idea.

I think that come the end of this year, many more authors will have their books available in more places than just Amazon.

Thanks everyone! It's something of an experiment. Hopefully having one of the five Auto stories free will serve as an introduction to newcomers, in the run-up to the novel being released.

I hadn't planned on pricematching down to zero on Amazon, as I'd heard anecdotally that this no longer worked, but maybe I'm wrong? Happy to take advice on this!
