Character Map and story plot summaries

This is going to sound quite sad but I'm looking for a way of recording character profiles and plot summaries on my Kindle 1st Edition. Why you may ask - well I read a book and then weeks later I have forgot the plot and characters and I would like a way of recording those details so I can revisit and recap especially as I tend to read collections that have continuity between books. Not even sure if I'm in the right forum but posting here to see if anyone can help.

Here's a well filled in book Big Grin http://www.shelfari.com...
A lowish one http://www.shelfari.com/books/17614609/The-Time-Hunters
And an empty one http://www.shelfari.com...

Thanks for the reply but what I was looking for is an app or something that lives on my kindle which I can edit as I'm reading. There are plenty of templates on the internet that can be downloaded for a PC where you can add the characters as they are introduced and map their relationships with the other characters and their relevance to the plot. I just wanted to be able to do this on the fly whilst i'm reading rather than having to stop and visit my PC. In answer to your question I don't really want to do anything with them except be able to go back and reference them particularly if you are reading a collection of books with common characters.
