This is a nice, secure password manager from a company that understands how to implement encryption properly (which is more than can be said for a lot of password managers). I've been using it for years on iOS and Android and happily recommend it.

If you are into the technical side here's what the Security Now podcast had to say about it:

Quote: mSecure Password Manager, for $10, uses Blowfish encryption. The encryption key is an SHA-256 hash of the master password, so that's pretty strong. They do password verification by performing a trial decryption of a known verification value for comparison. So when you enter your password, they hash it and then perform a trial decryption of something whose decrypted value they know. And if it matches, then it's safe. So that means, okay, you could perform an offline attack. Password recovery would require one SHA-256 process and a Blowfish key setup. And that's significant because that's very slow. So I think mSecure looks like they did a good job.

Todays free app is Pocket Yoga.
http://www.amazon.com...

I've never tried yog before, but have been thinking of giving it a go recently, so this came in at the right time. Haven't tried it out yet though Smile

The link is, once again, from Amazon.com as the UK site still hasn't got itself a decent running app section.

Not an App of the Day but a great Freebie.

We already have a Gotomypc subscription for PC to PC work

However, today I downloaded the KF HD app and my Colleagues the iPad app.

Great to see ones PC screen etc, with use of my own mail clients, printers etc.

Wow So impressed, especially as my hotel in Madrid has wifi throughout.

Amazon's Free App of the Day is "Star Traders RPG Elite".

Confusingly Amazon appear to be charging £1.27 for it, a massive saving of 2p over buying it in the Google Android App store.
