Transferring ebooks from Kindle Touch to Kindle Fire

Hi,
I have a Kindle Touch with quite a few book on. I am thinking of buying a Kindle Fire but am wondering if it is possible to transfer the books from one Kindle to another. Could anyone advise me?

Thanks,
Lynda.

I have a Kindle Keyboard with hundreds of books on and have just bought the Kindle Fire. Your Archive loads automatically on the Fire and shows all your books by front cover, which is really really great and something I missed on the KK, and all you do is click on the book you want to read and it downloads automatically to the Fire.

I have a Kindle Touch and am also thinking of buying the Kindle Fire HD. Will my archive also remain on the Kindle Touch in order that my wife can use it while I am using the new Fire HD ?

Yes. Your archive is associated with your Amazon account. Assuming both kindles are linked to the same account, they will have access to the same books (subject to device capabilities - for instance comic books bought on the KF may not be readable on an eInk kindle).
