If you are having problems connecting your new 2nd gen Kindle Fire / HD to your computer, you may need to install some additional software as it is no longer accessible as a general storage device and requires MTP software (Media Transfer Protocol). If you are using Windows 7 / 8 then you should be ok, but for other systems including Mac OS X and Linux, you will need to download some free software from here : https://www.amazon.com...
