Best tools for collaborative editing

I'm interested in creating a word document (or similar) that can be stored online and opened by others, who can make tracked changes and add comments (like on MS Word).

So far, I've had a quick look at Google Drive and although it allows collaborative editing, it doesn't appear to track changes the way I would like it to.

Does anybody know of other any other potential solutions?

Have you considered a combination of Skydrive and Word? It works well and doesn't have the frightening privacy implications associated with Google Drive...
