Author Rank - another new Amazon feature

I don't know whether you've spotted this yet. There's a new 'Rank' tab on your Author Central page. In the UK it only gives a nice graph but over on dot com, I've just discovered this:

http://www.amazon.com...

Scroll down to No. 64 Big Grin Nice going, Steve.

Sadly, there are no categories for children's books or humour. Tantrum

Yes, Linda, it is. I suppose we'll get it eventually over here. A lot of the names are trad pubbed but there's a fair few indies in the Top 100, so you and I might make it yet Big Grin

I hadn't seen that, Lynda. Good find, thanks. Or maybe not so good as we now have another list to keep checking! Where's Mel Comley? She's in the spot above me. Well done Mel! Race you to the top! Big Grin

Ooh, this does look interesting. I've just taken a look....I agree, it'll be another thing to obsess over. However, my sales are dead in the water this month so I'm expecting only a downwards trend for my author rank!

Wow, good find, Lynda. I'm surprised at the number of authors I haven't even heard of, yet here they are, in to Top 100. I'm also impressed with the number of female authors (I don't read many books by female authors - Lynda La Plante is an exception only because I liked the Prime Suspect series), but methinks I seriously need to check a few of these out.
