What I Read

The Garden of Evening Mist by Tan Twan Eng

Just been looking at the charts on Amazon and found this little gem has come down in price, The Garden of Evening Mist. It is just over my usual £5 price limit, but I am prepared to pay this knowing how much I enjoyed reading his last book.

I know you will be interested in this Susanne, and if it is anywhere near as good as The Gift of Rain I will be over the moon.
Only happy when I am immersed in a good Kindle book Thumbs Up

RE: The Garden of Evening Mist by Tan Twan Eng

It's on the Booker Prize Short List. I bought it as soon as it came out in February of this year and did start it a couple of times, but somehow, the beginning is very slow and/or I haven't been in the right frame of mind to read it, which is a pity, as The Gift of Rain is one of my all time favourites. I'm going to give it another go soon. Let me know what you think, sujay, if you do get it.
