Does anyone know how long Amazon takes to price match books on Kindle with other e-tailers? I notified them over two weeks ago that barnesandnoble.com were offering my first 'Ghost Gang' book for free (after I had reduced the price to zero on Smashwords) but it's still on Amazon at 99p.

RE: How long before Amazon price matches?A tricky one - in my (short) experience don't bank on anything logical or courteous. I waited 4-5 months for them to price-match 3 of my titles, regularly telling them of the lower price. Eventually they price matched only 2 of the 3 to 'free'. The odd thing was I was getting lots of downloads from .co.uk and none from .com. I was suspicious so got friends abroad to make 4 downloads from .com and they didn't show on my figures. I've contacted them about this and have got nowhere. And it got odder. One of the two they'd price matched they put back up to full price (even though it's still free on smashwords) for no apparent reason.
