What I Read

RE: Removing defamatory comments.

I've just read this review and put in a complaint to Amazon. It is abusive and doesn't actually make any direct reference to the book in my opinion. I also think it is making derogatory references to the author. I hope Amazon take notice!

RE: Removing defamatory comments.

I think we can expect more reviews of that kind in the future.

As some of you know, I received one recently which was mainly lies and exaggerations. The reviewer gave three books one star on the same day, mainly because they were too short (as if Amazon doesn't state exactly how many pages you get for your hard-earned pennies). After protests from my friends (KUF and facebook), those reviews were taken down. There are people out there who love hunting and shooting indie writers just for the fun of it.

And I know readers are entitled to like/dislike our stories, but when they give one star for stories that are properly written, edited etc, and the blurbs are informative rather than misleading, it is also my right to think they are harsh.
