RE: Looking for 100 word storiesHere's my first go - exactly 100 words - if I'm allowed to exclude the title. No Lucky Stone It had to be good. It could have been good. It should have been good. I planned it all: the hand-in-hand walk along the beach, the playful searching of the rockpools for anemones and starfish. I often find a pretty little red pebble with a hole in it, a ‘lucky stone’; I had a leather braid in my pocket to make her a necklace. I’d booked lunch in that cosy restaurant on the quay, and reserved the table in the window with the view of the harbour. I thought it would be so very good. But she didn’t turn up. |

RE: Looking for 100 word storiesA muffled scratching broke the silence as he shuffled to the precipice, toes curled into the edge, nothing else between him and infinity; head held high. None called to step back, none below looked up. No one would call emergency; someone would call maintenance. The last of his family, all others hunted down and killed before him, he must follow through with his animal desires. Hated, despised, ignored by the people around him, safety always came at the rooftop. Even there, barriers tried to stop him seeking the edge. He stepped into space. Gravity stopped. He was but a pigeon. Xavier Edwards, Aussie Erotica and Erotic Romance author. Smut pedlar extraordinaire.

Probably the closest thing to not erotica is 'Tragedy of the Virgin Bride'. My readers have classed it as a historical romance, with a little bit of erotic overtones. Either that or 'A Hero's Return', but it does get rather explicit at times. I understand it if you are unable to link to any of my books -- it's one of the things I have to live with as an erotica author. Xavier Edwards, Aussie Erotica and Erotic Romance author.
