I like the drabbles but if few are writing them then perhaps it is time to alternate them with Jan's good idea of writing a good 'quote' or using famous writing quotes.  Even I can give you some famous ones!
Interesting idea. Have to say I am disappointed whenever there is no Drabble but then I understand it is not always easy to come up with one. I have some ideas for a couple but life has prevented me getting back to them for a while. But, as already said, I think it would be great to also have some inspirational quotes. There are times when even the most prolific of authors need some inspiration.

I love the drabbles section although I think it's been hard for us to keep up the quality of the stories. I'd like the feature to stay and I don't think it's particularly detrimental to the newsletter to have the 'No Drabble Today' message.
Maybe the occasional drabble competition with a Newsletter Feature as a prize would help motivate the authors?
