TechnoHipppy - please, re-use away.

Willie and Lynda, thank you for writing some more. Please can you submit then using the form? I'm not being lazy, it's just that if I have to add every freebie and story manually it eats hours of my day because there are so many to do.

I hope this isn't cheating. I'm a great believer in recycling, so here's a slight extension to a 50 word story I wrote as part of a bet a while ago. The story's only 65 words, so I guess it may fail the count test... but Rosen did ask for a test monkey.

THE INFINITE MONKEY THEOREM

I’d heard that, given a typewriter and enough time, a monkey would eventually produce Hamlet... verbatim.

To find out if that was true, I got a government grant and twenty thousand monkeys.

After nineteen years, one monkey did it, except he had ‘Help Me’ as the title instead of Hamlet. Close, but I’ll keep the experiment going until one of them gets it totally right.

PS I'll try and submit this on Rosen's form, just to follow the Test Monkey theme to its natural conclusion. EDIT - The form said 'NO'. My story was too short Sad

I quite like it, but I agree it's not as easy as it sounds. Good fun though :-)

As it's you, Rosen, Big Grin I've done so - although it told me there was a subscription problem with my email address. Hardly surprising, seeing as I'm not subscribed. Big Grin

RE: Looking for 100 word stories

Thanks Lynda. It reached me ok. What subscription error did you get? Did you leave 'Subscribe me' checked and the email field blank? That would upset it, naturally.

Done! Exactly 100 words and no problem getting it added to your list.

This is fun!
