Singing from an e-score

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this but I was thinking about downloading an e-score of Mozart's Requiem. Has anybody tried to sing from an e-score. Whilst page turning must be easier than with a paper score the 'page' is about 25% of the size of the pages of my Mozart C Mass score.

I have a lot of sheet music stored as pdf's on my kindle keyboard and once I've got the correct scaling it's quite readable, but I'm just using it as a crib, we perform without paper and I just use the scores for learning and memory jogging.

You will also have the problem (solvable I think) of the screensaver timeout if you spend too long on the same page. I believe that quite a few musicians have used the larger (10") kindle dx though this isn't available easily in the UK
